Detective David G. Boone

Current Assignment: 4^th grade and 6^th grade D.A.R.E. at St. Anne’s School

          Detective Boone has been a Fair Lawn Police Officer since 1994 and has been a D.A.R.E. officer since 1996.  Det. Boone has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and Political Science from Alderson-Broaddus College and West Virginia University.  Detective Boone served in the United States Army Special Operations Command, 160^th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) as a specialist during Operation Desert Storm.  Det. Boone is also an ordained Baptist Minister who serves as senior minister of an American Baptist Church.  He also serves as the Chaplain for the Fair Lawn Police Department, the Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the Fair Lawn Fire Department, and the Fair Lawn Rescue Squad.  He has been a Pastor of American and Southern Baptist churches since 1983.
